The Meseta

 

Began walking the Meseta today, about 19 kilometers from Burgos to Hornillos. This evening, I'm at Alburgue Hornillos Meeting Point, in a room with five other hikers after a long, and thankfully, uneventful walk. 

Right now, Paiella is cooking for all of us downstairs. Eat, then get ready for a long walk tomorrow.

PS Ate dinner with a former Physical Therapist, Elly. She seems to think my foot will continue to heal while walking. She told me, "listen to your body."
