La Cruz de Ferro
Walking to Cruz de Ferro today.
Here, it is traditional to lay down a burden that each pilgrim brings in their pack.
Cloths with Adjective Names written by those from workshops, that Mando carried, "Not a burden but a privilege."
For me, I hoped to help those who would like to lay down a burden, with this heart-shaped rock, passed through hands in workshops, as well as at our dinner in L.A., just before leaving for Spain.
Here it is placed with the other rocks at the base of the Cruz de Ferro.
For Kerstin, as close to the clouds as I could place your heart.
The walk today.
Very rocky and steep downhill. Second hardest day of the Camino.
The leaves turning color.
Tonight in Molinaseca.
I was tired tonight and not planning to post. After talking with Lauren, she gave me encouragement that someone would read this, if I decided to write. Thanks La.
Thank you
